IMEX America 2025

The IMEX America trade show is the world’s biggest gathering of meetings industry suppliers and buyers. It offers specialist education, networking opportunities and a year’s worth of business deals across the show floor at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Several exhibitors reported record buyer numbers and strong traffic at the event that opened this week. IMEX Group CEO Carina Bauer said the industry is moving from recovery to growth, with bookings outpacing expectations.

She credited the show’s new format changes, including the Inspiration Hub and a more focus on attendees’ individual human needs as a major factor in this. These include a Smart Monday education day, sessions that address deeper individual concerns and the use of technology to support accessibility.

IMEX also introduced a new onsite navigation app, supported by CrowdConnected. It uses Bluetooth beacon technology to scan badges and provide attendees with instant access to their personalized schedule of meetings. It’s a first for the event, which also used recycled carpet throughout its aisles and booths.
