There is no rubbish or recyclable collection for our town, perhaps there is a simple way we and the Hasting District Council can solve this.  I propose that twice a month, the residents can place their rubbish bags and recyclables in a specially marked area (common area) where the rubbish for Lake Tūtira will be located and have it removed together.
All the current rules and regulations set in place by the Hasting District Council will apply – the Tūtira Store can supply the “official rubbish bag” or the “rubbish tag”.  Do you support this idea?  If not, what do you propose to do?
