Hi Wayne, thanks for the question, it is one that was very important to me as I considered my candidacy.  Yes, I live in the ward, in Linwood.  I was approached by a number of people to stand in this election.  Many of them suggested other wards where they would like me to stand.  But I knew that I needed to stand in the ward in which I live to really put my heart and soul into representing my community.  That was what was right for me.  However, I would not wish to see ward residency as a requirement.  I am happy for voters to make their choice based on the information they have in front of them... just like you are in this election.
