Kia ora my name is Will Moore, I am running as an Independent Green for the Southern Ward here in Wellington. 

I live in Newtown with my young family, and I am a born and bred Wellingtonian. I am a documentary filmmaker, gardener, surfer, sailor and stay home parent for my three year old daughter.

I will bring a new voice, fresh ideas, kilos of energy to Council, and will champion the interests of the Southern Ward.

I am an active community member, and am committed to building more self sufficient, local, grassroots communities, protecting our environment and developing a sense of pride, place, spirit and community to Wellington.

I want to keep water in public ownership from source to tap. I want Council to listen to community viewpoints, and voices from the street, and to support local projects such as growing fruit and vegetables, harvesting water and insulating homes.

I will be knocking on the doors around Southern's busy streets.
