Wayne Huang is Deputy Chairman of the Botany Community Board. Holding a Masters degree from Auckland University, he has been a school principal locally for over 10 years. Wayne is committed to representing the interests of all in the local community. He initiated the Manukau (Auckland) Asian Forum to assist the harmonious integration of diverse groups, especially new settlers, into the community. He was also active in gaining support for the change of name for the local board. With proven organizational skills and considerable energies, Wayne is dedicated to making the Howick Local Board successful in its governance of local matters and in keeping our community safe. It will take a united team to keep rates to a reasonable level while providing facilities and services we can be proud of.
