Seeking re-election as Mayor because Upper Hutt deserves an experienced, trusted, proven voice who will continue to lead a Council with vision to make decisions to ensure the community is poised to benefit from the improving economy. As Mayor I have provided vision and strong leadership that our city has needed. Under my leadership Upper Hutt has had a voice locally, regionally and nationally; essential in the debate on future governance of the Wellington region which will take place over the next three years. I believe I have shown we can make a difference and anything is possible, even in difficult times. I believe that Upper Hutt’s future is bright and under my leadership I will continue to build a bright future.
