LIFELONG LOVE OF THIS COMMUNITY!

As I near the end of my second term as a District Councillor my aspiration to represent the community I have lived and worked in all my life continues.

As Careers Adviser for Stratford High School I am involved in running programmes that create future pathways for our young people. I am passionate about our youth – they are our future!

My parents, Eric and Gwelfa Burgess, now both octogenarians, inspire me to see that Stratford remains a safe, welcoming environment for all, especially our aging community.

It is important to me that local decision making rests as close as possible to the “locals” those decisions affect - it is imperative to have a good mix of councillors to represent our District as a whole.

Stratford is important to me – I offer a willingness to participate, and the commitment to serve this community.
