My name is Vincent Rasell, I have an extensive background in Clinical Leadership, have owned and developed my own award winning retail business, and have previously held elected board positions, therefore I understand the dynamics of working within the board environment and utilising resources to get the best results out of what we have available.
I believe that well planned decisions, balanced with consideration for children and family life in addition to hard work, leads to success and fulfilment. In Hawke's Bay we need fast and efficient services to maintain healthy families and individuals. We need to ensure that youth and the elderly are given access to specialised and expert care, and that we
continue to meet the health needs of Hawke's Bay by quickly adapting to challenges through innovative and careful financial planning.
In closing, I will bring vitality, innovation and responsiveness to Hawke's Bay DHB.

I, Vincent Richard Rasell, being nominated for the position of Board Member of the Hawke's Bay District Health Board, hereby declare that I believe I have a conflict, or a potential conflict, of interest due to any or all of the following matters or reasons:−
I am currently employed by the Hawke's Bay District Health Board as a Clinical Leader for Child, Adolescent and Family Services.
To the best of my knowledge and belief, I have no other conflicts of interest with the DHB at the date of my notice of consent to being nominated. I do not believe that any conflicts of interest are likely to arise in the future, other than my intended continued employment by the DHB.
