Let's promote the downtown area as a central place of commerce, advocating for better street lighting and security cameras. In turn attract new businesses to the area and sustain the businesses that already exist. I believe we need to work alongside our local community groups such as Neighbourhood support, Kawerau Blue light, Kawerau Safer community trust and Tuwharetoa ki Kawerau to promote a safer town and assist our elderly and youth in a positive way.
