Married with five children.  Four terms on Council as Chairman of Engineering Services, Chairman Regional Transport Committee, Tender’s Committee and Rural Services Portfolios.

As an experienced Councillor, I will continue to focus on the delivery of core services at affordable levels.

Development and maintenance of infrastructure, water supply, growth in urban and rural areas, while allowing sustainable economic growth and employment opportunities.  These continue to be major challenges for Council.

It is important to protect the special environment that is Tasman.

I oppose the sale of strategic council assets, and central government legislation that creates continual rate increases on ratepayers, many of who are on fixed or low incomes.

I have a long-standing association with national and regional representation.  Honest, hard working, good listener and communicator, applying commonsense and practical solutions to all issues.  I offer fulltime commitment, and appreciate your continued support.
