Attended Ngongotaha Primary and Western Heights High School − foundation pupil. 

Currently Deputy Mayor and Rotorua's most experienced Councillor, Chairman Community Parks, member of Te Arawa and all Standing Committees. 

Represent Council on the Tourism Board, Support for Elderly Forum, and Kauae Cemetery Committees. 

Past Leader of award−winning cultural performers − Ngati Rangiwewehi, Chairman Opera in the Pa Committee, Mokoia Island Trust, Western Heights Community Committee and St Faiths Parishioner. 

Also a member of Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust, the Lakeside Concert and Rotorua Arts Board. 

My new role as Kaupapa Director Tourism New Zealand allows me to passionately promote Rotorua as the best place to Live, Work and Play. 

I believe an effective Council should consist of people with a wide range of interests. If re−elected I would strive towards improving the quality of life in our district, especially for the Youth and Elderly.
