I am married to Gail and we have three sons aged 8-17, apart from my OE I have lived in this region all my life.

The Nelson region is full of opportunities and challenges, I love living here and raising our family in an outstanding natural environment. Maintaining that environment while supporting economic growth and enhanced employment opportunities that enable people to live here will be the challenge to the incoming council.

Continued focus on well planned development in our key communities, supporting primary production, infrastructure development and maintenance and providing community recreation opportunities around the region are keys to meeting this challenge.

Working closely with neighbouring councils the Government and other community organisations will help progress key issues around water, wastewater, roading and recreational development.

I seek your support to use the experience I have gained on Council to continue providing positive hardworking accessible representation.
