Lifetime resident of Woodhill, married with 3 daughters, Thomas is self employed in the farming industry having had businesses in both the retail and service industries. Thomas has worked in many community organisations and donated 5 acres of virgin bush to Rodney as a reserve. Thomas has been a 2 term Rodney District Councillor, member of RDC Appeals committee, Auckland Conservation Board member. 12 years on the Helensville electorate committee, 4 of those as chairman. Thomas has also chaired the South Kaipara Community Control. The new city will need people of experience and local knowledge to move us forward into the future.
