I am a resident of the Orakei ward and have lived in this community for most of my 47 years. As a director of a local professional consultancy I interact with many individuals, professionals and corporates. I find great satisfaction in communicating with people and in developing the high levels of trust necessary to become part of their project team and in achieving positive results. I have been married for 22 years and have two teenage daughters. I am a member of the Property Council, the NZIS and have achieved RPS and BSurv (dist) qualifications. I am also a member of local incorporated charitable society and with my family enjoy our wards beaches, facilities and other attractions. I believe that an independent and professional individual can work well as a community board member and can satisfactorily support the communities' interests and address local issues.
