I have lived in Stratford since early 1965. Apart from five years in the Central Plateau Motelling, this has been home.

Barry and I have three adult children and eight grandchildren of whom we are very proud.

I am currently at St Joseph's School, Stratford in the administration area, a job I thoroughly enjoy. The last three years I have served as an urban councillor learning 'the trade'. This has been a very big learning curve at times! I now feel better equipped to work within the system.

I feel very strongly about ensuring that we remain as a small Council, not an off shoot of a large one. The necessity of prioritising our spending (particularly in the current economice climate), maintaining our essential services and trying to ensure that our recreational facilities are affordable to all is important to me.
