My aspiration is to use my skills of juggling and balance to assist in bringing greater harmony and vitality to the community of which I am a part.

Through the concept of the ‘Guaranteed Basic Income’ (GBI), I see the potential of great creative expansion in all sectors of society.

Through honour and respect of individual personal sovereignty, many of society's woes can be alleviated as a solid foundation is created upon which can be built a wonderful structure in harmony with the laws of the universe - the laws of human nature.

Abundance is the natural order!

This is what I understand the Guaranteed Basic Income (GBI) as representing.

My over 20 years experience of vitalizing, animating and entertaining people from all over the world in central Christchurch, Cathedral Square, would give me a unique expertise for the Hagley-Ferrymead Community Board.

My role as a Community Board member is to represent your needs to those higher up the chain of command who are supposed to represent us, but don't, in the matters that are really important for us as human beings.

At present, the seat of command is guided by the dictates of money and big business, for whom peoples' needs and welfare are a very low priority.

(Why and by whom was the name “Social Welfare” changed to “Social Development”? Who wants to develop us into what? Our well-being doesn't matter any more?)

To me, our well-being is by far the most important!!!

What do I intend to do about it? If I am elected, what can I do about it?

I am not a politician, I am a performing artist, I am not a money machine, I am a man who can see clearly the imbalances in the society around me and would like to contribute to their re-alignment.

If people are happy, what extends from them (the environment) will tend in the direction of happiness!

Top 5 Issues

  1. That the fundamental concept of the "Guaranteed Basic Income" be officially endorsed. That is, that all persons' well-being is paramount and must no longer be used as pawns for large companies' (corporations') profit!
  2. To have individual personal sovereignty recognized and acknowledged as the basic fundamental unit of the public and our society. That is; companies and corporations, etc. must serve the public and society, not the other way round (as it is at present)! A person must no longer be legally a company (as s/he is at present)!
  3. To have all official computers use Linux as the operating system - to be open source (representing the people) rather than by a private company!
  4. From the above, to endorse the most important issue of all; the happiness of all people and their right to pursue happiness in their infinitely unique way - ultimately, it will be for the greater good of all.
  5. To endorse and foster and encourage diversity, which is equal to vitality. That is to have our society run by the strongest, rather than by the weakest, as it is at present!
To strive for the greatest vision (not the lowest common denominator!)!
