Having served on many local and district wide organisations, I offer myself as a candidate in the Eastern Ward. I feel I can represent both rural and urban citizens in the quest to receive value for their dollar, at the same time ensuring that this district is a vibrant healthy place to live with the facilities we all expect in todays society.  It is important that Council has representatives who understand the nature of farming, and the complexities of the water issues for both recreation and irrigation. Having lived and farmed in the Hinds area all my life, I would like to make a contribution to the well being of Mid-Canterbury, and if given the opportunity to represent you, I will bring my values of honesty and commitment to the Council table, as I have done in the numerous organisations I have represented.
