Kia ora and greetings to you all. I am committed to 'better, sooner, more convenient' health services for you, your family and your community. I have a genuine passion for the wellbeing of people and have worked within the health sector for the past seven years in a governance, strategic and community capacity. I'm a current board member for the Maori Health Runanga (BOP Wide) and Tauranga Intermediate School, where I was elected for my health and community knowledge, leadership skills and assertive drive to obtain the best interests and outcomes for those I represent. As an elected member, I aim for our DHB to rank within the top quarter for achieving all national health targets by increasing efficiencies, access, resources and clinical/ nursing health staff to enable 'better, sooner, more convenient' health service. A vote for me means better access, greater health outcomes and sound leadership − 'Healthy Thriving Communities'.
