Having spent the past 3 years as Deputy Chair of the Chalmers Community Board, I firmly believe that the fundamental function of the Board is to support and defend the interests of ALL residents and ratepayers. If re-elected, I will continue to advocate strongly for the wonderful communities of the West Harbour. I'm an extremely active and fully committed member of the community, which is reflected through my involvement with numerous community groups. I'm proud of my achievements coordinating the Harbour Cycle Network and serving on the Rothesay News committee. Furthermore, with great community support my charity quiz nights have raised thousands of dollars for West Harbour schools, sports clubs and other deserving causes. I'm 44 years old, married, a keen environmentalist and hold two degrees. I offer you my skills in communication and problem solving, an ability to work with everybody and above all my energy and fresh ideas.
