Resident for 25 years. Two term QLDC Councillor, Deputy Mayor and Chairman overseeing community assets and contract auditing.

Extensive community involvement including Queenstown Primary School, St Joseph's Parish Council, Queenstown Lions Club and Abbeyfield Wakatipu.

Aims:
More robust mechanisms to govern Council’s trading entities and no more surprises like the partial sale of QAC.
Widen the revenue base by encouraging new enterprises and having meaningful discussion with the community about all options and strong representation to Government for more
equitable funding.
Better performance and accountability from our managers, staff, Council Controlled Organisations, contractors and elected officials by reducing waste, scrutinising spending and
focusing on core services. Stronger action to control our expenditure and obtain competitive contract rates.

To lead a team of committed Councillors in an inclusive manner and represent this great district in all forums locally, nationally and internationally.

QLDC’s future is in your hands; I seek your endorsement.
