Shirley is a member of the Pakuranga Community Board. She has a passion for community work and is chair of the local Ratepayers & Residents Association, the Musick Point Trust, and was founder President of Tamaki Playcentre Association. She is also involved with the Auckland Regional Council, Project Crimson, Neighbourhood Support and Probus. Shirley is particularly concerned about rates, environmental management such as controlling beach erosion, the provision and maintenance of parks, and community and traffic safety. Support for community groups is important to keep us crime free. Her long−term interest in local government means that she is aware of the need to continue with many of the projects needed by our community especially when we join Auckland Council. Shirley has been awarded Women's Suffrage Centennial Medal and several volunteer awards. Please vote for Council Candidates Dick Quax and Jami−Lee Ross, Shirley Warren and the full Citizens and Ratepayers Team.
