Shaun Haraki

I am pleased to stand as an independent candidate contesting my home constituency of Wairoa.

Having been born and enjoyed an upbringing in the district, I find it easy stepping up to advance our special part of New Zealand.

 

This past year I have demonstrated my commitment by submitting to regional and district council planning processes.

I supported and suggested initiatives that provide for an efficient transport network, accessible recreational facilities, a sustained environment and a prosperous, safe, secure community.

 

I undertake to establish a productive working relationship with Wairoa District councillors to effect timely, efficient use of Hawkes Bay Regional Council rate revenue and resources.

This refreshing, shared approach will see challenges facing our district easily solved.

 

My purpose remains effective Wairoa constituency consultation, advocacy and decisive reason.

I look forward to earning your postal vote and becoming your new councillor on the Hawkes Bay Regional Council.
