I am a long term local resident, married, with 2 children and a family history in Kumeu. I'm actively involved in local sports and cultural activities including serving on the Kumeu Arts Centre committee. I'm commercially astute, have not-for-profit experience, initiative and enthusiasm.
My policies include supporting the entire ward, rates management, safeguarding local commerce, promoting events and activities that bring financial benefits to our community and defending our heritage. Enlarging Kumeu cemetary, advocating for access to quality Secondary education in our area, a fitness trail and improved amenities for the Huapai Domain, walkways, cycleways, beautification, arts and cultural development are also priorities.
I'm hardworking, committed and care for the future of our wider South Kaipara area.

Personal Profile
I have lived in Kumeu for the last 17 years and have a long family history in the area. My grandparents were farmers in the Taupaki area and my grandfather opened the first concrete works in Kumeu. My husband is a Correctional Manager at Auckland Central Remand Prison and our two children attend Huapai District School. I feel privileged to live in such a wonderful part of Rodney, and would like the opportunity to represent the needs and wants of our Community on the local board.
