Sailauama Cheryl Talamaivao JP. Passionate and balanced voice to stand for Council to bring positive reinforcement to represent, advocate for all communities of interest. I will maintain and enhance the ethos of our city and quality of life on wellbeing platforms for environment, social, cultural and economic benefits. I will uphold a safe clean green environment, ensure fair and affordable rates, maintain quality facilities, assets are in community control, resource and support local boards. I bring common sense, managerial and governance skills. I am a community leader, currently manage Waitakere Pacific Board, co−founder of Waitakere Pacific Wardens, founding member Maori−Pasifika forum, Hospice West Auckland, ex National Vice President of NZ Public Service Association. I believe in prosperity, development and transparency of Council decisions back to our community. I believe there is a need to have a more balance representative voice in the best interests of the Waitakere Ward.

Henderson - Massey Local Board

Sailauama Cheryl Talamaivao JP. To be inclusive, experienced and passionate to stand for the local board. It's absolutely imperative that local boards have a grass roots governance approach in their operation. All communities of interest must be represented in a holistic wellbeing approach to stand as a community for quality of life for Maori aspirations for self determination. Pasefika Peoples being added value. The essence of our future the leaders of tomorrow, our youth. Lest we forget our elderly and their assistance and support. Being inclusive of disability and mental health issues and their families. We must embrace our diverse community and ensure that all plans of agreements governed by our local boards are inclusive, informed and accountable to truly consult with our community and act in the best interests for a sustainable community in our leading eco city. I stand to serve and uphold a unity of purpose.

Waitakere Licencing Trust - Ward 1 (Te Atatu)

Sailauama Cheryl Talamaivao JP. My commitment, involvement and passion for this community, drives me to stand again to serve on the Waitakere Licensing Trust. Our Trust is about our community looking out for each other, and being responsible, caring citizens in the benefits flowing back and distributed equitably and fairly to meet the aspirations of all sectors of our community being our elderly, youth, sports, health/disability, arts, education, organisations and community enterprises. We live in a diverse community to develop, grow and strengthen the enrichment of all. I bring experience in governance, management and skills in social and economic development. I stand firm to ensure we as a community minimise the harm caused by gambling, and that there is a Trust strategic plan to ensure that our objectives and outcomes are measurable and accountable back to our community. A vote for me is for accountability and transparency. Yours in unity.
