I have lived in Putaruru since early 1993.  In late 1993, with the help of volunteers, started the Information Centre, The Prattler, and managed Pride in Putaruru until 1998.  Later I served on the last Community Board, was the first President of Probus and founded the Residents & Ratepayers Assn.   Elected a Councillor in 2004 and served on the Audit/Finance & Grants Committees, represented Council on the Plaza and Overdale Community Trusts and Arts Council.  During the last 7 years promoted/organised the inter-school debating competetion, assisted several sporting clubs as auditor for their accounts and at the beginning of 2010 became a Trustee of the South Waikato Achievement Trust.   I offer myself for election to serve Putaruru and the District.  My phone number is 07 883 3188; ring me, I am at your service.
