Rosie Brown (Justice of the Peace), of Samoan and Tongan descent, is a community leader who has worked tirelessly for over 30 years to ensure a strong, informed and experienced voice for Pacific people. A former Manukau City Councillor, she currently a Board member of Tamaki Primary Health Organisation and Mangere East Family Service Centre of which she was a founding member of. As a translator, running a safe house for abused children, Union supporter, Immigration consultant etc she has built close ties with current political leaders and Heads of Government Departments. This has enabled her to champion community issues at a Government level. She respects the importance and the vital role of Tangata Whenua in Aotearoa. Working across all cultures and generations by using all of her support, experience and respect, Rosie can continue to bring a strong valuable voice to your Council.
