Ashburton is a great community and I am grateful to have lived here all my adult life. My desire to offer myself again as an urban councillor, to make decisions which affect us all, reflects my commitment to Ashburton urban and rural. Important and challenging decisions were made during the last term and your views will be vital when Council needs to consider them further. I am always available to discuss any aspect of Council work. I would be privileged to use my past experience on Council as a Committee Chair, in business, community organisations, Zonta, Aoraki Polytechnic Council and my understanding of issues as mother and grandmother, to represent you for a further term. I am committed to being a well informed and strong voice for responsible spending and open consultation. I seek your support to continue to help Ashburton be the place of choice to live and work.
