Councillor:

Long time resident and former Porirua City Councillor, Rob is currently a trustee of the Porirua Community Trust. 

Rob has owned and operated businesses in Porirua for 15 years. Having served on a number of boards and community organisations in the area, Rob is a strong advocate for progress in Porirua and continued positive growth with a balance between industry,retail,employment and leisure encompassing interests of all ages. 

Councillors need to work as a team, professionally and positively for the betterment of Porirua. People deserve to be treated fairly and this includes listening and responding to the needs of our eastern community.

 

Porirua Community Trust:

Having been a member of numerous Sports and Community groups, there is nothing more rewarding to a trustee than to be able to help these groups in this tough economic environment. 

It is a pleasure to work on the trust board.Other benefits to the community such as the School Grants, Tertiary Scholarships and the Annual Sports Awards allow me to bring to the trustees table a drive and passion for the community of Porirua.
