I am a New Zealand Citizen and a resident of Waitakere City. I have a background in Trade Union and community work in particular with extensive experience working with ethnic communities of a diverse cultural mix. I am married with four children and am a small business owner. Presently I am a Senior Immigration and General Business Consultant. My key qualities: friendly, outgoing and enjoy working within a team environment. I believe in clean, green and sustainable economic development for our community. My central goal is to provide a better standard of living and enhancing the quality of life within the community while promoting conservation, clean environment, and social justice for all. I will always be willing and prepared to help ratepayers, while ensuring that rates are always fair and reasonable and that the services provided are at their optimum value.

Top 5 Issues

1. Accountability at all levels - How our rates money is spent is important to the rate payer and any expenses incurred should be fully justified and transparent.
2. Water - water is a basic human right and it should be available to everyone at a minimum cost. If elected to the board I will work hard towards achieving to have water provided at a minimum cost - no privatisation.
3. Public Transport - better public transport readily accessible and affordable.
4. Housing - Adequate housing for those in need.
5. Conservation and Development - conservation and care to our environment is important to all and it should be protected so that everyone can benefit from it. All care will be taken to ensure that policies are made that protects and cares our environment and which is sustainable and at the same time enhancing our economic development to create more employment.
