I am a Pahurehure resident and local businessman. I am the General Secretary of the New Zealand Indian Central Association, and a member of the ACG Strathallan School support group. I am a Auckland University graduate, and a JP.

My vision for Papakura is based on respect.  Our citizens respect one another, and the rule of law.  Our citizens respect the environment.  Our young people respect and honor their elders.  And our elders respect and nurture our young people.

I will strive to ensure that Papakura’s parks, stormwater and transport infrastructure is planned and funded.  I will give our Police every support.  I will add my voice to an ongoing campaign to make Papakura a place where residents value and preserve their local neighbourhood. 

I am proud to be standing with Papakura Mayor Calum Penrose. I look forward to keeping the “local” in local government, and putting Papakura first.
