Talofa and Greetings. My name is Pulotu Canada Alofa and I am a proud Westie and one of six children. I am very active in my pacific communities through my church, sports, entertainment and media. As a young proud Pacific Islander who has grown up in West Auckland, I have seen the many changes and growth developed in areas such as New Lynn, Avondale, Blockhouse Bay and Kelston. But that growth has made it almost impossible for many families to own homes or provide for themselves because of rising rates and other contributing costs. I am also very passionate about the wellbeing of the Pacific people − hence why I'm standing − and because I can also represent all our diverse communities. Pulotu Canada Alofa is currently doing a law degree and a BA double majoring in Politics and Sociology full time at the University of Auckland.
