Phil Palfrey is the long−serving principal of Manurewa East School. He was elected onto the executive of the New Zealand Principal's Federation in 2008 and is currently the Auckland representative on the New Zealand Education Institute's Principals' Council. In 2007 he was awarded a Queen's Service Medal for services to the community, and later that year was elected onto the Manurewa Community Board. Phil has been involved in many local projects and initiatives included several years as the organiser of the Manurewa Schools Choir Festival. He actively supports the sporting and cultural endeavours of young people. He has also studied and implemented programmes designed to counter child bullying. Phil and Di Palfrey live in Hillpark. They love living in Manurewa. As a Trustee, Phil will be strong advocate for clubs, groups and other community organisations that need financial support and sponsorship. Please vote for all Manurewa Action Team candidates.
