Riccarton-Wigram Community Board
Resident and Funeral Director in Halswell, committee member Halswell Residents Association, immediate past President Christchurch South Lions Club. Previous local authority experience as a City Councillor and Community Board member. This election I am standing for the Community Board as an independent, free of any political agenda. My strong and passionate community-mindness would enable me to make a significant contribution. I believe it very important that Halswell has representation by someone who actually lives, works, and sees daily life in the area. I offer you considerable experience, fairness, honesty and common sense in striving for a fair share of the services and facilities that Halswell and the other areas of the Riccarton-Wigram ward deserve. In particular, I am totally against the fluoridation of our water. I will strive to ensure that the Christchurch South area remains a desirable place to live.

Personal Profile
Conflicts of Interest
To the best of my knowledge and belief, I have no conflict of interest with the Canterbury Area Health Board at the date of my notice of consent to being nominated as a candidate for membership of the Board of the D.H.B.
I do not believe that any conflicts of interest are likely to arise in the future.
The only association I have with the D.H.B. hospital’s is contact with the mortality services staff and those facilities. This occurs only when I have received instructions from the next of kin of deceased patients, to facilitate paperwork and clearance to transfer deceased patients to the Funeral Home I am associated with.
