Personal Profile

I have lived in the Eastern suburbs of Auckland from a freckly faced young boy sailing his 'P' class yacht and playing rugby, onto Auckland University, then in business as a lawyer and now, taking a keen interest in our community. I live in Orakei with my wife and our two West Highland Terriers, enjoying the facilities offered in our area. I have a keen interest in all things aquatic, having spent many long days in the sun sharing our beaches and our harbour. Amongst my friends I am known for my blunt practicality and I bring to this position a strong wish to achieve results for our area, without undue time−consuming 'process' and delay. I stand as an 'Independent' on purpose, so as to be clear of political affiliations and to be able to freely represent your views on important issues affecting people and property in our area.
