New Plymouth needs a strong group of representatives to work on their behalf. We need tofocus on what is best for the community and implement strategies so that we continue to build a district we can be proud of.

During tough economic times the council should concentrate on providing basic services and reduce expenditure on fringe areas.The council also requires a representative who understands the investment strategy underlying the TIML perpetual investment fund.

It would be an honour to add being a New Plymouth District Councillor to my other community service duties such as Justice of the Peace, Visiting Justice to New Plymouth Prison and Trustee of Hospice Taranaki Foundation.
