Despite having Post Polio Syndrome, Asthma and one withered Lung, Peter has been incredibly active citywide/locally, like any elected representative: Zoning plan change 163; Opposition to expansion − Westfield St Lukes, Warehouse − Balmoral. Support for Indian temple's new community facility; Dangers, users, Western Springs Lakeside Park; Proposed new Kelly St (Mt Eden) local park; Transport committee−council re traffic policing issues and rates charges, Finance committee, as Greypower member Peter opposes continual increases and Metrowater's excessive charges. Peter does support further capital projects − opex/capex with tight fiscal controls. A new conventions facility and business−generating Tourism incentives for our gateway city. Affordable city progress/events and socio−economic partnerships. Infrastructural renewals; drainage, sewerage, road safety upgrades. Cruise ships' Queen's Wharf development along with Rugby World Cup projects. Overall − an efficient, capable, user−friendly new council, in touch with you the owners.
Make your vote count; Peter Boys for council.
