7 (corporate) Council Controlled Organisations (CCOs) will grab 75% of
Auckland regional rates.
Do you want unelected businesspeople controlling your interests? These
CCOs will be run like a business, by business, for business − setting up for
future privatisation under Public Private Partnerships (PPPs).
Have your rates and water bills gone down since the last council
amalgamations? The $upercity legislation set up this corporate structure
