Pauline's background in nursing and involvement with numerous community committees will be an advantage for the demands required around the board table. Pauline's experience in local and national health sectors and her endorsement from the New Zealand Nursing Organisation (NZNO) is an acknowledgment that her comittment to the health and well being of our communities is paramount. Pauline runs her own business providing mentoring and supervision for nurses in the community. An avid rugby supporter, and plays a mean game of tennis. Pauline has comittment to the job at hand and will not dissappoint her voters. Pauline is married to Bill Downs and has four grown children, a stepson and fifteen mokopuna.
