I have lived in Paeroa since 1981, employed in the family business, Caltex Paeroa.

I am involved in a number of sports both as a player and in administration, including incoming Chairman of the Waikato Valley Cricket Association, Secretary of the Waihi Soccer Club and immediate past President of the Paeroa Golf Club. I was elected to the Hauraki District Council in 2004 and am currently the Deputy Chair of the Paeroa Ward committee. During the past three years I have been involved in many projects including the award winning main street upgrade in Paeroa and working towards having more youth participation in Council. I have also taken an active role on the Better Futures Hauraki Forum and the District Plan Review Committee. I am passionate about our District and look forward to working hard for the community over the next three years if re-elected.
