Re elect Dr Olive Webb, member of CDHB since 2000.
All health services have improved enormously in this time but we still need better: family focused services; after hours health care; rural health services; responses to cancer and major disease; in home support; Maori, Pasifika and Asian health outcomes; continuing hospital efficiencies; insulation of homes; management of alcohol; responses to family violence; health promotion and care for vulnerable people; co−operation amongst health providers.
I live in rural Hororata I am a clinical psychologist and have worked in the Mental Health and Disability areas for 40 years. In 2009 I was awarded an ONZM for services to people with intellectual disabilities. I am a Director of Rural Women's Access Home Health and Trustee of Special Olympics NZ.
I will continue to advocate successfully for excellent health services for all Cantabrians.

Conflicts of Interest
To the best of my knowledge and belief, I have no conflicts of interest with the Canterbury District Health Board at the date of my notice and consent to being nominated as a candidate for membership of the Board of the DHB other than that:
I am Chairperson of the Institute of Applied Human Services which provides clinical advice and workforce training to individuals and to various Health and Disability providers in Australasia. IAHS has no contracts with the CDHB.
I am a Director of Access Home Health Ltd which has contracts with the Accident Compensation Corporation, ministry of Health and various DHBs including the Canterbury DHB. I have no involvement in the contracting process.
I am a Trustee of Special Olympics NZ which as well as providing sporting events for people with intellectual disabilities, also provides health screening and health interventions for its athletes.
