My six years on the Kaiapoi Community Board, three years on council and comprehensive involvement with the community has given me skills to work in the political environment. Let's continue working toward lower rate rises, more efficiency within council and better planning. 

Let's involve the whole community in setting goals for Kaiapoi and Waimakariri District, and then get on and achieve them. 

Have the community take the lead in setting the agendas then council work with the whole District to create a positive future for our towns and communities. There is work still to be done. I have enjoyed the privilege of serving our district and would love to continue. 

Married to Janine with 3 children I have lived in Kaiapoi all my life as have my extended family. I am passionate about Kaiapoi and the Waimakariri District.
