Having been part of Council for 27 years, that have seen Franklin grow and prosper, providing the infrastructure and meeting the challenges that go with this, has been very satisfying. We need to continue to manage orderly growth and I'm pleased to have been part of a team who has developed a strategy providing guidance for how Franklin's growth will be managed for the next 50 years. I want to ensure that the community continues to be consulted and the desired outcomes are achieved. I see the future for Franklin as providing the balance to an urban dominated Council, by being a rural alternative in lifestyle and amenities. A place where people come to live and work. I want to ensure that the voice of Franklin is heard and understood. We must not lose our identity and what Franklin offers to Auckland. Please vote for all Citizens & Ratepayers candidates.
