Murray has lived and worked in Owairaka, running a successful plumbing business in Mt Albert since 1963. He is active in many organisations serving the community including current Chair of the Mt Albert Residents and Ratepayers Association. Murray chaired the Eden−Albert Community Board 2001−2004. He is active with sporting associations including serving three terms as President of Mt Albert Bowling Club. Murray is married to Diane with four adult children and five grandchildren who attend local schools. Murray will ensure that local amenities are well maintained and improved with fair and sensible use of rates. He is determined that upgrading local infrastructure particularly stormwater separation is given priority. He supports the proposed Mt Albert and Pt Chevalier precinct plans and will ensure they are implemented. He has the time, experience and local knowledge to serve you.
