Mike Murray has lived in Panmure for 21 years, and is motivated by community needs. A retired Deputy Principal who has held senior positions at Ruapotaka, Stanhope Road, Panmure District and Tamaki Intermediate Schools, Mike currently enjoys relief− teaching at Panmure Bridge. Mike has been active in athletics for over 35 years and is a life member of NZ Children's, Auckland Masters and Pakuranga Athletics Clubs. Mike has been on the Trust for six years and chairs Mt Wellington Foundation. He is an active member of the Panmure and Otahuhu community networks and Dunkirk Road Activity Centre's management board. "The concept of the Foundation sharing profits with the community has always appealed to me. I want to continue utilising my energy and experience in making theTrust succeed on behalf of Panmure/ Mt Wellington, having enjoyed using facilities the Trust has supported.
