The People’s Choice: Labour for 2021

I have served this Ward for18 years at Community Board level I feel I have ample experience and knowledge to represent you at the Council Table.

I am a Family man who has lived and worked in this ward for 40 years. I have an in-depth knowledge of the issues that affect our Community’s and enjoy working on solutions to these. The Halswell Domain expansion, Templeton Community Centre and Southern Motorway are some examples.

I have served 6 years as Community Board Chair and presently Chair our Transport and Roading Committee.

 If Elected to Council I will represent you, the Residents and Ratepayers to make sure you have the quality of life you expect as a Resident of Christchurch, living in this Ward.

We have many Retail, Commercial and Industrial interests that need to be considered along with new and older Residential Communities.

1. Open Decision makeing so the Council is led by the Elected Members representing the Community.
2. Stop spending on bailouts following decisions being made behind Closed doors.
3. Protect our water and waterways.
4. Plan a rebuilt city on safe ground.
   Listen to what the Community wish in the rebuild.
5. Restore funding and support for our ard working Community Groups.
