My vision is for controlled, quality development in Devonport and Takapuna, with an emphasis on community access, benefits and consultation. I believe we need cleaner beaches, better boat access, further development of walkways in coastal areas and parks and a fresh approach to crime and safety in our community. We must improve car parking for commuters, workers and shoppers in Devonport and Takapuna, easing the pressure on surrounding streets. We need to upgrade and support existing town centres to enable local businesses to prosper and connect Takapuna's stunning beach front to the CBD. I am passionate about Devonport and Takapuna. I have lived here all my life and have been in business in Takapuna for 24 years. I am married to Jo and our three children attend local schools. I am committed to helping our community meet the challenges of future development with an organised, commonsense approach. Vote Michael Sheehy.
