I'm offering a passionate new perspective on building a positive future for the Albany Ward and Auckland. I'm seeking to represent you from day one to make sure the benefits of the amalgamation are realised. As a councillor I pride myself on working on practical solutions and find it frustrating when vocal minority groups speak out against, or offer opposition − but no solutions. I'm keen to play a key role in helping Auckland thrive, I stand strong for the majority who support logical, smart, manageable progress. I'm grounded, in touch with the hopes and aspirations of people like you and me, and − perhaps surprisingly for someone of my age − I'm already well experienced in local body politics. Over the past three years I have built an extensive social media network of local residents through Twitter and Facebook, generating real feedback on council issues from over 4000 people.
