I came to Upper Hutt in 1995 to further my electronic studies after completing a BSc (microbiology) at Massey University (which I fitted in around my student radio shows and three sports, including running the weights room). After trying my hand at direct marketing, I started my business (FTI Computers). An active member of the Retail Working Group, I am standing because I can bring a fresh pair of eyes into Council, and business flair to make a real difference. We have tremendous tourism potential, so I’m working with regional and national authorities to improve public transport and amenities. The Hutt River runs past our city and through our hearts, I will fight to minimise bluegreen algae and keep that summer swim safe. Vandals and taggers who defile our city will be found smarter things to do. Vote Anderson for Progress, Anderson for Action, Anderson for a better Upper Hutt!
