MANUREWA LOCAL BOARD
I am a Weymouth resident living here by choice, proud of its diverse heritages. I am an owner of Pacific Focus Consultancy; I serve humbly in ministries with Aotearoa family International Services. I am a Youth project manager with Beacon Fellowship National Trust providing support and care for at risk children and youth nightly at the Clendon Mall.
During my involvement with Local government organisations the crucial need for fair and equitable representation of a youth voice in the super city council ward of Manurewa decisions has been identified as they make up 42% of Manurewa's current population.
I believe that youth leaders today and tommorow need to take responsiility now with their partnership in both local and national government. We need a holistic approach to prepare and have a collective responsibility from all ages groups starting from this city of Manukau.
