Having grown up in the West Harbour community from an early age with a strong family lineage in St Leonards, I am eager to support and bring fresh ideas to enhance the achievements of the current community board. I have over 11 years experience as a Police officer, currently based in Dunedin Central and I am passionate about community safety within neighbourhoods and supporting improvements in road engineering and education for all our road users. Having been involved in community activities including West Harbour Pony Club for a number of years, I understand the importance of supporting and implementing youth initiatives to encourage young people to be active in our community. I enjoy outdoor based activities and see the potential the continuing development of the harbourside walkway and cycleway will bring to the local community. I am looking forward to the challenges that working on the community board will bring.
